Study Shows Risk of Dying In Car Crash Decreased

A new study shows that the risk of dying in a motor vehicle accident in a late model car or light truck fell by more than one third over the last three years. The study also showed that there were nine car models that had zero deaths per million registered vehicles. The study examined deaths involving 2011 year model cars. The decrease is accredited to better designs and safety technology. The riskiest models were mostly lower priced, small cars, where the safest models were all mid-sized or larger vehicles.
