Contracts are an essential part of any business. The contract sets forth the terms of the agreement between the parties. This way, if something goes wrong, the parties can turn to the contract to figure out their rights. For this reason, it is always important to make sure your contract contains all of the necessary terms of your business deal.

A contract can be either written or verbal. However, it is always best to have the contract in writing. A breach of contract occurs when one party does not honor their end of the deal. Sometimes, the parties can talk about the problem and work it out amongst themselves. However, frequently, the parties are unable to resolve their issues and a lawsuit needs to be filed against the party who breached the contract.
